Some notes on Alexandre Dugin and the Fourth Political Theory: Dasein functions as an "in-between" in the subject-object relationship, and it is from there that a political project should start. From traditionalism, one might think we are talking about a divine principle that structures reality, but Dugin proposes here simply a verticality in opposition to the horizontality of postmodernism, such as the idea of "chaos."
On the other hand, I am interested in the hermeneutic procedure Dugin applies to myth and how historical events have a mythological function in relation to the politics in which they are embedded, with the power to structure reality. For example, World War II is narrated in a certain way; if someone profanes that narrative, it is considered taboo, as Kanye did. In reality, we never overcame myth or religion as materialists believe; ideology and politics simply took their place. 0 reply
