@jacob , you mentioned that small purchases were still possible with external wallets. But the Zora app and wallet are now the default, and they block low-value trades since Zora pays gas — so only higher-value purchases go through.

Maybe the solution is simple: let users pay the gas, even on tiny purchases like 0.000001 ETH or 1 Spark. That would protect Zora from cost — and restore the micro-trade freedom that set this platform apart.

I tried external wallets and couldn’t make it work. And if they still support micro-buys, the Zora app should too — especially since the platform encourages its use. That’s where most of us are trading.

Another issue: in the Zora app, we can’t send ETH, Spark, or Zora to other wallets or exchanges anymore — only to users. That breaks a lot of use cases. It used to work before. Why limit this now?

Altogether, these changes have caused a big slowdown. People aren’t trading. Coins aren’t moving. And that’s a serious risk to Zora’s momentum — the playful, fluid onchain vibe we all loved is now stuck.

I say all of this with genuine care and hope. Zora is still one of the most exciting creative tools out there. A fix — especially for small trades — could bring everything roaring back to life.

One of Zora’s key advantages over traditional NFTs was freedom — people could buy micro-amounts, even 0.000001 ETH. It enabled creator self-buys and made coins visible. It was fun, accessible, and encouraged organic trading.
