Throwback to a few months ago when I made this hair, it was the most iconic and bravest hair I’ve made, because everyone around me either really liked it , or really hated it. Two comments I remember so vividly was when an acquaintance told me that she could only make this hair if it was for a shoot,or if she was a model. The comment felt so back handed to me, considering that I intended to carry it for a couple of weeks. The second one was when someone called me Yemi alade ( a nigerian artist) in a public vehicle. This sat better with me, because the artist is known for her beauty, afrocentric look, charisma and undeniable talent.
