i’m so grateful for my delusional belief in myself. I often get compliments on my “authenticity” but the price of that authenticity is constant rejection. 

… and that rejection occurs not only in work, but in social situations, dating, just everywhere. lt takes so much longer than you think to find people & places that get you and respect you. but it’s all worth it when it finally aligns
