Miss you brotha 🫶 But it's arguably gotten worse this last week. Less like 4 like engagement farms More basic lifestyle content engagement farms being promoted in the algo relentlessly 😢

Ah man, quick look at the TL and I was hoping things were improving (at least didn’t have outright farmers suggested front and center) Feels like the app has shifted from text based to more of ig style content. Hoping things improve. Miss you and my purple app friends. Will be back sometime in the not too distant future

The app definitely favors media content now, text is a thing of the past in their eyes. But still no media tab on profiles, or specific timeline tabs of just media or text (both would be appreciated) Seems as everything is just geared towards increasing DAU in any way possible, even if it's at the detriment of the community it already fostered. Hope to see you back soon brotha 🫶😢

That was pretty much my take on the situation as well. I understand pushing for growth but wish they could differentiate like you mentioned Hopefully just some growing pains

Yeah I think they will be able to adapt for the better, the issue definitely comes down to the algo It's such a flywheel for new accounts, which seems to be as intended. But it doesn't curate the content you interact with often too well. I have trouble finding the people I interact with daily, which shouldn't be the case
