What are the chances that this worthless observation slop and anime gif got 199 organic likes? The user has 352 followers, I’d say close to 0% chance I don’t know whats happening with the quote casts, screenshotting @callguy’s cast below. For the record I’m going to keep doing this, so if you don’t like it feel free to unfollow. Further, if this slop shows up as suggested on my feed because you, my mutual liked it I’m going to start unfollowing

another trend(?) i've noticed is "just woke up hope you have a good day/have so much to do today" or the overtly "positive" casts, which is fine on its own but there's a group of folks who do this pretty much on a daily basis yet have a weirdly high engagement and almost always the same group of people in the replies. makes me think that there's a gc and all of it is coordinated. ik i'm by no means an excellent caster but at least play a fair game 🤷♀️

I think you should blame the algo/benefit new accounts get lately, I see casts from people I don't follow on my TL lately and they're mostly new accounts.
