I just noticed I've gotten airdrops of a bunch of Runes because of some Ordinals I was holding. I saw some horror stories of people who tried to sell their Runes and ended up losing everything else, where can I go to read up on these Runes and if/how to sell them safely?

Check ordiscan.com to see what you received and try to find the projects X handles for info. 

Magiceden.io definitely the easiest way to check portfolio and get valuations. Selling is easy but can be done how you received them (per lot), ME also support splitting lots.
