Let’s first take a look at the upcoming Taproot Wizards mint allocation ⤵️

Out of the 2,121 collection, a total of 2,085 NFTs will be available during the mint — the remaining 36 NFTs are honoraries and not for sale.

🔸 1,000 NFTs reserved for paired Dead+Alive Quantum Cats holders at 0.1 BTC
🔸 5 free NFTs for Golden Cape Quantum Cats
🔸 WL can mint the NFT for 0.2 BTC
🔸 Non-WL can mint the NFT via a dutch auction

🔸 1000 NFTs reserved for paired Dead+Alive Quantum Cats holders at 0.1 BTC

Since Taproot Wizard’s announcement of mint on 11th March, there has been a ton of activity for Quantum Cats.

No matter the activity - whether it’s to “entangle” the cats to join the WL, buy them, or sell them - it’s clear that there is high interest and engagement from traders who are involved in this wizardry world. 

While there is no confirmation if all 1,000 reserved NFTs will be minted, it is certain that the remaining WL will mint the NFT out at 0.2 BTC ⤵️

🔸 WL can mint the NFT for 0.2 BTC

For traders who do not own a pair of Dead+Alive Quantum Cats, they can complete missions via Taproot Wizard’s Discord (which is now closed).

Based on Taproot Wizard’s latest update, over 1,500 mission submissions were received ⇒ the mint is officially oversubscribed.

🔸 Non-WL can mint the NFT via a dutch auction

The mission submitters who do not manage to get WL will have to revert to a last resort:  participate in the dutch auction.

As with all dutch auctions, the mint will start at a higher initial price (ceiling), drop by a fixed amount periodically, and finally settle at its lowest (resting price). There is no additional information at the moment, but the price will definitely be above that of WL’s (0.2 BTC).

Depending on the auction parameters, the mint behaviour would be difficult to predict but due to its hyper-limited supply, it is safe to say that the NFTs would be minted out.
