I’m on a very challenging path of trying to be open to the world and finding myself more in social or social-adjacent situations. Definitely reading more in public - silent book clubs are a good option, or just sitting somewhere for an hour with my coffee Still, I love reading in my couch the most, especially in the daylight. I think I just love the feeling of not beeing in a hurry in the middle of the day and reading in peace Anyhoo, what’s everyone reading these days? I’m on a Japanese writers streak - recently loved Earthlings and Sisters in Yellow. I’m fairly new to Asian literature but I’m definitely seeing some particular trends of the last several years - maybe will gather my thoughts on this later. Just started Butter, and mixing it up with Yesterday (by an American writer) and a couple of non-fiction books PS I still can’t cast in /books 🫠
