the most mind-blowing thing for me has been the real traction with DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks). The idea of using tokens to incentivize people to build out real-world hardware networks—like Wi-Fi hotspots, data storage, or even energy grids—is finally moving from theory to reality.
It's a game-changer because it completely flips the script on how essential infrastructure is built. Instead of relying on a handful of giant corporations, it allows communities to build their own networks from the ground up. It’s a powerful way to challenge monopolies and could drastically lower costs for everyone. Seeing these networks actually grow and become usable this year has been a huge step forward.
