Instead of talking it out with ChatGPT, you should get a typewriter and painstakingly write out your thoughts. The forced slow filter of the manual clicking will probably give you more opportunity for insight. I also once used a typewriter in a creative writing course. I think it was the best writing I have ever done.

I wrote a first draft, then ended up refining it so much largely because it took so long to type it into the typewriter. It was the best editor I ever had.
