has anyone used or plan to use Ethereum Attestation Service, what are your opinions on it, technical or design limitations, maybe potential use cases you envision? Does it compete with Farcaster in some ways?

EAS is a phenomenal, full featured product! OP Labs uses it for the RetroPGF application and EAS is a predeploy in the OP Stack https://community.optimism.io/docs/identity/profile/
