My 8 year old is about to start a family business or mafia, I’m not sure. She keeps coming up with radical money schemes, if only they didn’t just target her parents— she needs an outside audience because this girl is revved to go

honestly, with as much as she absorbs—she could be very soon. If I get grifted by my 8yo I’ll know i have only myself to blame. I listen to most things on speaker and so she’s soaking up daily /rise-up and podcasts like @laurashin’s unchained.

Wait actually curious now, since yours is 8 as well, if you’re letting her interact already with things onchain Podcasts in the background is already super cool!! My daughter hears A LOT (like she knows $fartcoin and $bitcoin) lol but wondering how other parents are introducing screens, yet a lot interacting onchain

I have an 8 year-old and an 11-year-old— neither of them are onchain, but I have started looking into what that would look like for them, and when I would start it. my youngest is most interested in the tech and money aspect, but my 11 year old just likes when @alexpopovic says my name on the show and just gushes that they know me. So one is for the opportunity and the other the vibes. I use iOS screen time as their parent and I generally like that. Sometimes the settings are a maze, but we survive. I wish I knew about a project or program that was “web3 101” for kids. I’m going to imagine what I’d want that to look like if I were able to help build something like that. @verafaye have you seen anything blockchain for kids?

First of all, we're stoked to know YOU 🍻 Second - Evan and I actually co-founded a kids focused education initiative, that was Founders' Forge - not a day goes by I don't wish that was a thing.
