This is almost wholly a trust/reputation problem, along with awareness of how easily things can be manipulated. For example, $moxie talked a lot about building indefinitely and sticking around for some defined future, then one day it was gone, not even a year later, and a new token had launched. That's the kind of stuff people should not only be aware of, but also able to easily surface to guide their decisions. $degen has stuck around through it all, and a huge amount of creator funds are locked for years; that’s a huge net positive. It’s really not that complicated, just difficult to surface- especially in the face of get-rich-quick mentality. Outside of that, it's actually really simple. Like with credit: businesses or builders with longevity get more trust, while newer ones get less. Memecoins make the dynamic trickier because they're attention-based, which is harder to predict. I think the same principles still apply. These markets are fire and Farcaster is playing with it using novice audiences

I still remember when @bitfloorsghost.eth said when a project says we are here for the long haul and keeps dipping , it won’t stick around for a long time haha
