this is often attributed to either Feynman or Einstein, but it’s actually a misattribution of Einstein who said “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.”— Feynman mostly explained to his less experienced audience through way of analogy, but probably the best modern approach is through first principles which relies on the fundamentals of a thing— all that is to say not everything can be explained simply. Other ideas are very simple whether through analogy or not. @july made a nice post on this topic some time ago but I can’t find it
