To me bitcoin is nothing but payments and gold, gold is hard to transport making it harder to hide. Bitcoin is easy to transport, making it easier to hide. Payments are easier to stop and expensive to send (globally or not, PayPal is probably 2%?)— I always go back to being under 18 and financial apps would close my account and take the money. To me ethereum is the stock market database. Maybe game items. These are the only selling points I believe in. Everything else is FUD.

Points don’t always translate well for ie country with free payments. In your case if you had wealth in bitcoin, nobody needs to know, you can exit India easier. India can’t stop you from spending it if you’re overseas either.
