I felt my choices this election were between corrupt and corrupt+stupid. Trump, Elon and RFK are all unfit to be empowered to this degree, especially with 0 checks and balances. I expect a lot of chaos and instability, with 0 self reflection from Democrats along the way.

I absolutely love Dev Containers and I wish that I started using them earlier Makes new dev environment setup super easy. Supported by most major IDEs + GitHub Codespaces, feels completely native. All of the upsides of containers (automation, trivial to rebuild) without the DX downsides of interacting with them

was going to post a mint mania but @zora and @warpcast are both bad at handling open graph tags zora fetches metadata too slowly and warpcast won’t update cached embeds it’s decided are Image Not Found. today for the first time the image fetched successfully before i posted, and then upon cast refresh warpcast decided to surface Image Not Found a lot of headache for a bunch of decentralization theater — two companies paying for all this to happen, but with high latency “decentralization”tech adding enough complexity to make simple open graph images not work 🤡 so i give up for now and will try again in the morning

Elon Musk, JD Vance, and a host of other prominent people have apparently spent the last 24 hours promoting a fake story that Haitian immigrant killed and ate a cat in Ohio. This story is false — there is a non-Haitian woman with mental illness who was arrested for animal abuse, but it went viral as an anti-immigrant story promoted by prominent individuals such as these.

Received another 5USDC today. Expected it of course — that’s what comes with being a world-class caster. It’s the same way Lebron James isn’t surprised when he scores a double-double, or Martin Scorcrse knows that he will direct an Oscar-winning film. It’s called natural greatness. But I notice there has been a vibe shift since I joined this exclusive club. I find that I no longer have time for normal chit chat and pleasantries with the mob. When you have 5USDC rolling in daily, life feels too short for such nonsense. When my boss calls me asking ridiculous questions like, “Why haven’t you been into the office the last two weeks?,” and “Why are all our corporate accounts showing overdrawn?”, I don’t even bother engaging. I merely send them a screenshot my 5USDC deposit, hang up the phone, and laugh. 5USDC is no longer just a lifestyle, it’s a movement.
