🤡I don't have much LXP on Linea because I don't like airdrops with quests where you have to install extensions/other wallets, play games and do social tasks (the sole purpose of which is to generate inorganic traffic). However, the Linea airdrop situation is somewhere between comical and ridiculous. Besides the fact that the chain is practically dead (zero yield and zero usage without quests), the TGE has been postponed at least four times (from a Qx up). The team makes unclear and confusing announcements about X to create FOMO, interactions, and to generate buzz. In reality, there's a lot of talk and little concrete action. The latest announcement about $SBET is emblematic of this. $SBET is the NASDAQ ticker for Sharplink Gaming (a company to adopt Ethereum as its primary treasury reserve asset). Consensys is an investor in Sharplink Gaming. The bad faith of those who adopt these strategies is also evident when they answer "yes" to questions like "Linea's TGE at the end of the month?".

👤💰A Recent Scam with Hardware Wallet. An investor named James received a package with a new Ledger: a white, sealed box with the Ledger logo, containing a device identical to the hardware wallet he had been using for years. The accompanying letter, written in technical and reassuring language, informed him that his old device had been compromised following a security breach and therefore had to be replaced immediately with the one provided by the company. The document, in addition to correctly indicating that James was already a Ledger customer, reported all the correct personal data: name, surname, address and personal email used for registration. Once the 24 words (seed) were entered into the new device, his wallet was immediately emptied.

💻B3, a gaming protocol, has acquired gaming PC maker Andromeda Insights to support its expansion into hardware. The idea is to build a cryptocurrency-focused PC, complete with a storage drive that can self-destruct at the push of a button ( "destroy" ). Its first hardware device, the B3PC, is designed specifically for cryptocurrency, including a self-destructing storage drive that can be instantly erased, wiping away valuable and sensitive data in the process. The B3PC’s self-destruct feature includes two options: a secure digital erase that continues even during power outages, and a physical destruction process that literally destroys the NAND flash chips using high voltage. The feature is “lethal” once activated, the data is gone forever (imagine protecting high-value files or sensitive key material).

⛏️Last week, a solo miner successfully mined Bitcoin block 903,883, earning 3,173 BTC (about $350k), despite having only 2.3 PH/s of processing power (or just 0.00026% of Bitcoin’s total hash rate). The miner used Solo CK, a service that charges a 2% fee but eliminates the need for expensive mining infrastructure. According to a pseudonymous Dr. CK, a miner of this size has about a 1 in 2,800 chance of solving a block per day, or once every 8 years on average. Solo mining has been compared to playing the lottery because of the extremely low odds of success. Most miners join pools to combine resources and split the rewards. However, miracles do sometimes happen.
