Facebook reminded me that 11 years ago today, I paid $50,000 to enter a tournament that no woman had ever cashed before.

During this tournament, Rob Mizrachi laid me 15:1 that I wouldn't cash with 90 people left ( I bet $1,000 to win $15,000)

I won that bet and cashed the event to make poker history, ultimately finishing in 6th place.

It was an unforgettable time in my life, but it's also a time I'll never return to.

I'll never play full-time poker again, but I will always remember it as a defining time in my life.  I won something better than money that summer.

I learned more about myself than I ever knew.  I walked away a different person.

And money can't buy that 🫡
