1) today was a particularly difficult morning to start. but i got up at 8am, worked out and meditated to get started. my life is not that different from a day i would perceive as a good day. i just perceive it differently at times. it is just a cycle. morning to night. spring to winter. joy to sorrow. sun. moon. life. death. when i suffer from the negative mood, i just tell myself that this too shall pass. and it does. writing here helps me a lot. i often get pumped up or tear up while jotting these down. i don’t know who is reading, who is reacting, but at least i know that there are people out there who are feeling my words. i also love that there are no comments here. i often lack the energy to respond to anything and that’s when i write here. these are my private public thoughts. i’m just an ordinary guy surfing the ups and downs of this wave called life. here i truly feel that i’m just a floating awareness in this big ocean of life, along with many other souls doing the same ...

2) avicii once said “life is a game made for everyone. and love is the prize.” when we play games, we lose and win all the time. but loving the game itself through the ups and downs is the way to live. i know that in my head but i often lack the clarity to distill it down to momentum. wow pouring it all out here has truly uplifted my soul in the past minutes. now i am sipping on some coffee with a delightful song in my ears, excited to head back home and hug my lovely boy (my cat ). going to try my best to make the most out of this day. here and now matters the most. let’s go Ako . :)

feels like one of those moments when someone puts your exact thoughts into words. couldn't scroll past without leaving comment (but no need to spend energy replying). hope the coffee was good and the song really was that great. as for my girl (my cat), i miss her terribly. she’s living with parents now, 11,000 km away and i can't hug her whenever i want, so i can say you are a lucky one.
