People think that intimacy is about sleeping together . My idea of intimacy is TRUTH . When you realize you can tell someone your pain , past and trauma . When you can show yourself to them ,stand in front of them , and their response is , "You're safe with me " . That's the intimacy I crave .

This resonates with me so much. I’ve always believed the deepest connections come not from bodies touching, but from souls understanding each other, I hate temporary people touching my body.
