just fyi, TeleCentaur (and DiscoCentaur for that matter) are BYOA - bring your own agent π€π¦ the initial build started as an attempt to fork centaur, described as a "multiplayer self-hosted, secure agents for slack," for discord with @quidli injected so that the shared agent could recognize all server members. but then i decided to take a more lightweight approach that gets users a truer "multiplayer" environment (+ onchain payment rails) by letting each user have access to their own agents & llms (claude, cursor, openai, gemini, minds) via the shared bot. admittedly, this is a v1, basically a temu version of centaur as it is much lighter on the security side. but i think it's more representative of the agentic web that we're heading towards, if i'm being honest!

without fail anytime i see a scaleup company taking on legacy players in an old industry, like banking or insurance, i fall hook, line and sinker for the cheaper product offerings because they're "tech forward" and supposedly have less OpEx and without fail, when i actually need to something, i learn that these companies have very few processes and institutional knowledge in place to solve the issue i have and then end up regretting making this change just to save a few bucks... why am i like this?
