doing a quick browse of nfts i own, it would appear 2023 was a big year for me, as a generally non nft person (been active in crypto since ~2016), and it seems like most were ones i found on farcaster

feel like this was due to: pfp collections with high starting mint prices no longer as trendy, zora introducing a kind of "fast fashion" model that was more economically accessible, less openly speculative, and then something about nfts being shared in smaller "trusted" circles making them feel more special to own

not minting so much at the moment though, with the exception of when rodeo first came out...
