although i like conceptually what's being proposed, particularly more stuff being built on top of fc, it's not clear to me how Purple benefits aside from the brief media exposure. at least maybe some jerseys for us? https://warpcast.com/ahn/0x0e61ac

I’m happy to speak to what purple receives as benefit and what I’m looking to push with the second part of the prop on the BLVKHVND side. Right now I’ve looked to align the dev of HVNDCAST as a vehicle to proliferate FC and open it so that more communities can build atop of it.

You do get the media time and attention related to the jersey stunt during our playoff run and all of the content produced during the week long event will be attributed to purple. I refrained from pushing a stronger media and merch campaign based on feedback streaming from the first two prop interactions.

However, I don’t that it’s not within reason to bring them back, BLVKHVND would have to vote on allocating some funds towards that effort which I’m planning to write next week. The ACOLYTE distribution is part of that process (which you are happy to join!)

Good treasury mgmt to me means not just supporting FC but also enabling Purple to continue to support FC. So when I saw 'token' in the proposal, it surprised me to not see any mention of Purple getting allocation. Seems the most natural result of DAO2DAO collaboration like this.

I can totally understand the reasoning for that as historically token swaps are the go-to method As far as what type of allocation makes sense, I think that’s truly a discussion we can have collectively. My initial value exchange was providing open tech to the ecosystem which to me felt stronger than token swap

If the project is building public goods, I'd agree. But again, given the mention of selling the DAO token, to me there is a misalignment of incentives. Keep in mind, I only speak for myself. And it seems the votes are largely in favor!

The platform in and of itself is public Part of the feature set is just porting our DAO into it like any other community could So you can watch our content, comment on it, learn about us, and participate in the auction. But the token itself isn’t a primary feature of the app. Does that make sense?
