working on Lens/with Lens Chain has been... interesting, to say the least but there's not nearly enough users on any one deso network and app to ignore the others, and so i think it's pretty neat that @quidli can act as an interoperable (and permissionless!) bridge between, for example, Lens accounts and @base.base.eth 🟦🟩 open social graphs + smart contracts is a helluva thing!

what makes lens interesting to me as a user? i'd say that it's got some pre permissionless farcaster vibes rn with mostly just diehard lens heads active and posting, which makes it fun to shitpost around in but from a building perspective, as i mentioned above, i think the current deso tam is simply too small to ignore the "other" network as this time; particularly when many of the few active accounts there are content creators who're very keen to experiment with web3 features and do more than just post but have little outlets to do so atm cc @cristinaspinei @iamtherealyakuza.eth

There’s some cool stuff being built around Lens ecosystem, examples can be @javitoshi and @daoleno all what they ship! But bcs there’s no mini apps everything gets dispersed and hidden.

mini app is just one element biggest challenge, imho, is stable infrastructure and dev frameworks to build more experiences on top of what is already there (like mini apps) so much of the stack is not readily available so you'd end up spending a lot of time trying to build things just to build things...
