Its not that it's not counting. What they is it your most 51 viewed or engaged post. So if other posts engagement is less than those most engaged 51 post it won't be added to your score...

Yes, about 7 per day, but that might not be easy. Living your life and socializing is the aim. Can't be counting post on daily basis. So best is to give quality content and hope the visibility and engagement soars higher. One can score high with quality content without using 51 per week or the top 51 gives one good score.
