🚀 EIP‑7691 is on the horizon — doubling Ethereum’s blob capacity from 3 ➡️ 6 per block. That’s twice the data room L2 rollups (Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, etc.) can squeeze in every slot! The top chart below shows we’ve been brushing right up against today’s 3‑blob “target” (blue line ≈ red line). Hitting the ceiling = higher blob‑gas prices. EIP‑7691 raises that ceiling. More space → less contention → cheaper blobs. Look at the bottom bars: 🟦 Mainnet fees — relatively steady 🟧 Submission (rollup) fees — spiking when demand > supply After 7691 lands, the orange bars should crater while blue stays put. Net win for every L2 user and sequencer. What to watch: Blob‑gas price trend (expect ↓) Rollup submission cost per tx (expect ↓) Overall L2 activity (expect ↑) Cheaper data = fatter margins for sequencers and cheaper swaps for users. 📉💸 Get your dashboards ready — blob‑fee markets are about to get interesting. 🔍
