the only time i used a 'fake ID' was when i was 17 and 10 months going to my friends 18th birthday at a jazz bar i was panicking the whole night and also hungry i went to the bar to order a garlic bread and i got asked for ID i showed them my friends ID who looks nothing like me but is black so it was fine and got my garlic bread and swore i would never do that again

I know the feeling! I did the exact same thing back in university with my friend’s ID. Managed to sneak into a bar 2 or 3 times maybe 🫣 . But what choice do you have when the restriction is 21 years of age 🤷‍♀️ Honestly though, now that I look back I would not have the nerve to try it again.

My dad always said he could go drinking under age anywhere but he had to behave or the locals would get him thrown out. In my time, you could drink underage in pubs where the police knew the landlord would keep things under control. Now you can't at all. I'm not convinced this is progress!
