Think it could someday become feasible to generate a decent amount of tips through posting about/suggesting books in casts?

I'd like to think so, but to pull it off long-term I think we'll need something closer to "slow social" than fast-moving algo feeds. Something more like reddit than Twitter. 

But I'm down to bat around ideas for work-arounds or short-term experiments if you have ideas. I have 500+ nonfiction books in my home library, some of which I've read multiple times cover to cover... but I rarely cast about them because casts have such a short half-life that it usually doesn't seem worth it.
