Welcome to the jungle, Belize
Day 1 travel notes:
- English is the official language as a former British colony
- capital city was moved away from Belize city bc it was under sea level and flooded too often
- it’s hot. And humid. I thought maybe the locals were more acclimated but they say it’s been hotter and hotter and feeling the effects of climate change. Sad to hear how they talk about it.
