@adrienne
I’m reading a book about how the world works and the author makes a claim about what he considers to be the single most momentous technical advance in history
And what he says wasn’t even on my radar as a potential candidate for the technical advance that has most impacted humanity - it’s not the steam engine, or the microprocessor or the internet, or nuclear reactor,
Anyone want to guess?
Hint: its estimated that without this invention, human population could not be sustained and without it, 50% of the worlds population would not have enough food to eat
