“I’ve lost everything in a hack” Unless you are truly unbanked and have no access to literally any other resources, this shouldn’t ever happen. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify your savings across different assets, and consider risk when deciding how much to place in each basket. Never put everything in one asset class, institution, or wallet. And if there’s a chance of total loss - even if small-, you should probably only have what you’re comfortable losing.
