How we chose what to build for FarHack:
Few hours before builder day started we circulated a Google doc to start listing ideas. All ideas were welcome, no judgement allowed.
Had a few open ended chats with each other to see what each of us wanted to build
At the start of the hackathon we realized we were all pretty open to ideas and no one was attached to any one thing
We set a timer for 10 minutes and said we had to choose before timer went off
We aligned on what was important to us so we had criteria for choosing:
1) wanted to ship something, a workable end to end MVP
2) learn something new! We all needed new surface area
3) didn’t need to over optimize to win prizes, winning was not important to us
4) an idea that we think would capture attention
5) have fun
Once we had these set, it became easy to choose from our options; coinaroid was the only one that checked all these boxes
Feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with @mcbain and @alvesjtiago.eth - we made a great team
