The impetus for building the /word-a-day game was two fold.
First, I was inspired to build a daily-habit miniapp that took advantage of all the things that are unique to farcaster with all users having a crypto wallet and being able to push notifications without collecting personal information.
Second, I was helping my daughter study for SATs last summer using vocab word index cards and noticed how after we learned a word we would both try to weave it into our speech during the day.
