A few weeks ago I updated the database schema for /word-a-day so that FID was no longer the primary identifier for a user. I did this so in the future I could expand the game to other platforms like X or Bluesky. The app has been pretty stable for the past 2 weeks so now I'm working on the remaining tasks which is to remove FID from various tables in the database. I'm a little wary because I risk breaking the entire app if I do it wrong but going to move forward with it anyway. If you are playing and you see anything break, please let me know.
