When I hear the word miasma I always think of this They Might Be Giants song from one of their children’s albums
“The sun is a miasma
Of incandescent plasma
The sun's not simply made out of gas
No, no, no
The sun is a quagmire
It's not made of fire
Forget what you've been told in the past”
It’s funny because this song ‘why does the sun really shine’ comes right after their song ‘why does the sun shine’ where they tell kids the sun is a giant ball of gas and then this song comes on to say it’s actually a miasma of plasma and not a ball of gas
Also if you have kids under 10, highly recommend playing this entire album in the car or whenever you listen to music- my kids said it helped with with science tests in high school and even college 🤣
