I’ve had a Google voice number since 2009 and really haven’t used it much in the past 10 years Google been aggressively trying to get me to deprecate it to save on costs so I finally agree to let it go Searched my email for that number just to see if I’ve referenced it for anything important I had it in my email signature for a brief period in 2010 when I was looking for new job Find an email exchange with a recruiter for a role at an unknown-to-me-at-the-time company called Palantir for an engineer/tech focused biz dev role. I’m deemed too senior for the role and therefore not a good fit. Sliding doors.
