@adrienne
Met the founder of a sexual health company today. They’ve gotten kicked off TikTok and Instagram for talking about women’s sexual health, making it exponentially harder to reach new customers. The laws are also written in a way that penalize women but not men. For example the reason ED ads are everywhere is because ED is classified under family planning and is considered a medical condition. Women do not need to reach orgasm to procreate, so a lot of women’s sexual health concerns are not considered medical concerns and therefore cannot be included in ads.
She was angry. She got me angry.
It’s reasons like this that got me interested in Farcaster.
Should @nounishprof and I have her on @gmfarcaster to talk about her company, how the social media companies have too much power, and help her onboard here so she can tell her story (and find new customers!)
