GM Farcaster’s format is to cover the news happening on farcaster. We have had well over 100 builders on our show to talk about their projects. We were inspired by the creativity and innovations that were exploding on Farcaster and wanted to create a platform to amplify and celebrate it. Harmony says we will never be successful, but according to my yardstick it’s already been successful. I’ve learned and grown personally from this experience, I’ve gotten to build apps and agents, I’ve had a chance to travel and make friends. Harmony also takes issue with us claiming to be neutral. I don’t really want to litigate that point, because while I have a long list of evidence of our doing the news without editorializing, I don’t think it’s an argument that is winnable. Neutrality is a tricky word, especially if it somehow implies we can please everyone which of course is impossible. I support Harmony’s (and everyone’s) freedom to develop her own opinion about our show and what we stand for. I support everyone’s freedom to criticize us. It’s ok if we aren’t for everyone. Luckily there is infinite content in the world today so no one is forced to listen to us. I will continue to let my personal values guide my behavior on and offline, and I welcome continued discussion and collaboration 💜💜
