What’s up, sheeple? There’s a documentary about a famous horse tamer in Mongolia, someone who can capture and train wild stallions better than anyone else. He had a great quote about sheep. Each year, some Mongol nomads release their horse herds into the wild to live out the winters on their own. The herd of mares (females) and geldings (castrated males) is protected by the stallion (male, not castrated) against wolves. Each spring the nomads must recapture and train the stallion all over again. Asked why they do this, as opposed to keeping them captive all year, the horse tamer says they must let them be wild, otherwise they will become dumb like sheep. https://thesheeplets.gobase.wtf/share/5818/2
