Reading about the heart chakra on the plane earlier, I highlighted so many passages Compassion means "to have passion with." If passion represents the desires of our soul trying to meet its own needs, compassion means reaching beyond ourselves to include an understanding of another's needs. Only when our own needs have been met, can we now share our fullness with an-other. “IF EVERYONE WERE PERFECT, THERE WOULD BE NO NEED FOR LOVE.” “Love is the essence that heals. Patience, skill, training, and talent all play their part, but without love they are merely techniques. All wounds cry for the universal medicine of love.”
