Major unlock for Warpee today!
Warpee gets his knowledge from our show's transcripts. The quality of transcripts directly impacts his ability to answer questions.
I finally built a way to manually edit/improve past transcripts, so warpee can have better knowledge.
For example, in our very first episode, the transcript recorded @nounishprof saying the word "scenius" as "seniors". So of course when you asked Warpee about scenius, the transcript from episode 1 would never be included in his response.
I built an admin dashboard that lets me view transcripts for every episode, do a search/replace for specific words, or can edit individual sentences. It then propagates the updates out to everywhere I have the transcript stored (S3 is source of truth), and then - here's the kicker - recreates the embeddings and updates my vector database (pinecone) which is what enables the natural language search.
Of course warpee won't be much smarter yet, but I at least have a mechanism for making updates to his transcripts and will start using it to improve on his knowledge.
