Is there clinical evidence for CBD helping with inflammation directly? I haven't found any yet from well known medical orgs. I've had on and off inflammation around the ribs since COVID in 2020. A few years ago my primary care physician PCP told me he thought it was costochondritis (Cartilage inflammation). Now that I have access to good health care I've done diagnostic blood tests for autoimmune diseases, an x-ray, and ultrasounds to rule out other things. With past flare ups it's gone away slowly and now I'm looking to be more proactive - From Drs I've talked to they haven't seen clinical evidence for CBD helping with inflammation directly, though they're fine using CBD if it relieves pain - A past PCP recommended 20mg CBD in the morning and evening since it lasts for 12 hours which helped - I'd like to avoid NSAIDs like ibuprofen|naproxen unless necessary I'm exploring more potential solutions for inflammation 🔽

Acupuncture I'm happy to receive this recommendation from a rheumatologist too. Acupuncture and physical therapy during the same period of time helped in my hip labrum recovery in 2024 to go from trouble walking to running daily in a few months.

Physical therapy PT for stretching and strength training to potentially prevent future flare ups For my 2024 hip labrum recovery I spent weeks doing my own stretches and exercises from YouTube which I now realize was not nearly as effective as having a custom plan created from a physical therapist.

Rolfing (Fascia massage and manipulations) I'm surprised to receive this recommendation from a Johns Hopkins Medicine rheumatologist. I first heard of Rolfing living in Medellín Colombia as a roommate ran his own Rolfing clinic. I wonder if chiropractic work could be beneficial too. https://search.brave.com/search?q=Rolfing&source=web

Nutrition impacts everything I've mostly been following anti inflammatory nutrition [1] and can look at areas to improve. Thanks to @nocrimez.eth for the reminder of the more powerful autoimmune protocol AIP [2].
