Interesting idea on Ethereum future proof of stake PoS upgrades
- The name "proof of stake" PoS makes more sense than "proof of governance" PoG
- Validators are creating and validating new blocks under the proposed model. It doesn't have to do with governance.
- Paying validators the market rate for block building and validating without staking is interesting to simplify the network. However this new model doesn't have a way to penalize bad actors which brings us back to staking and slashing?

It seems John Adler doesn't agree with his own rage bait "validators are cucks" because he admits they are essential to the network for block building and validating.

- Also hard caps on the validator set is another network change that would prevent this

Thanks to the @ethstaker Discord I learned 100% staked ETH doesn't make sense
- The market is constantly rebalancing
- For example during large ETH price increases stakers will move towards higher APRs reducing the staked percent
- If there is unforeseen systemic changes to the market the ETH issuance curve can be adjusted
