Are Hario V60 paper filters biodegradable and|or compostable? • It seems that they are because it's made of natural pulp without chemicals • Though there's no specific label on the packaging

A major benefit of the V60 filters being made of natural pulp without chemicals is that they likely do not contain microplastics https://x.com/foundmyfitness/status/1935463354098708522

In the future I'll research reusable cloth and hemp filters to see if there's evidence of their food safety (They don't emit microplastics) https://x.com/adamshurwitz/status/1956484486558003378

I appreciate the V60s reminder on brewing a good pour over too 1. Take the boiling water off the heat source and wait for the water to settle 2. Pour hot water slowly to moisten the grounds from the center outward while moving in a circular pattern 3. Wait for about 30 seconds to slowly add more water with the same swirling motion • Make sure the water does not come into direct contact with the filter (Perhaps for flavor...)
