The people I respect most seem to be splitting into two camps. I wanna call them Automators and Artisans. Blurry lines here, and plenty of overlap, but their orientations to AI and the world are super different. šŸ‘‰ Automators optimize for speed and volume. Artisans go slow and work inside-out. šŸ‘‰ Automators don't really have taste. Artisans, that might be... their greatest asset. šŸ‘‰ Automators focus on distribution, efficacy and reach. Artisans focus on authenticity and excellence. šŸ‘‰ Automators build systems and workflows with AI. Artisans build things (and make art) by hand. šŸ‘‰ Automators scale what works. Artisans publish what feels right, even when incomplete. šŸ‘‰ Automators measure everything. Artisans trust their vision. I think both of these models are valuable -- and it's actually in the overlap where the real magic sits.
