Are cast-threads looked down upon or perhaps a nuisance to read? I do like the X thread format for reporting the news and 10K character cast for articles, etc.

From what I can tell it really depends on the account size using them. The heuristic is still there from Twitter, but it seems to be more effective for bigger accounts (10k+ followers) Not a scientific observation, just my experience from what I’ve seen.

I’ll try to experiment and see how it works out. X is still my go to for beat style reporting.

I’d like to but my audience is VERY different on X given my area of reporting expertise.

Still, you’re leaning into your area of expertise and there’s not nearly as much competition/ noise in your filed here to compete with. I gather you might be familiar with @mazmhussain who has been able to do quite well on this platform and bring his signature journalistic style. Can’t see why you can’t do the same. Guess I’m saying, just experiment with threads here and track its engagement over the course of 2 weeks to see if it’s working.

I came to Farcaster through Maz’s circle of friends.
