There are a lot of people who are addicted to X The people you see constantly posting rage bait, getting in arguments, posting inflammatory takes, etc. They’re addicts I’ve met a few crypto Twitter addicts irl. You would think they would be loud and boisterous like they are online. But they’re usually pretty quiet and barely engage with you, because they’re constantly looking down at their phone and furiously typing A lot of these people have big followings on X, but I don’t think most of them will ever come over to Farcaster. It doesn’t matter how much better Farcaster is than X, they’re not going to leave because they’re addicted I think that’s a good thing though. It’s obviously not a healthy way to live, and it contributes to the incredibly toxic culture on X and in crypto in general

I completely agree that audience wont benefit Farcaster in the long run, and trying to court such devisive and high follower accounts now will only diminish what separates this place from X
