In my sophomore year of college, I took up a camera for the first time with a purpose. I was inspired to try photography while hiking by my roommate, Alex, who is also a budding filmmaker. Initially apprehensive, I captured sunlight through leaves, tree bark textures, and genuine moments. I took a picture of Alex enjoying the globe at the stunning summit view.
