Happy 2026 everyone! This year I invite you to join me on an adventure — an adventure to create a better economic reality You don’t need to pack anything, so don’t get too giddy, but I do promise the trip will be worthwhile. This adventure is both an escape and a destination. We are escaping an economic reality that is increasingly threatening us with joblessness, and our children with lower living standards and dystopian nightmares. And while the system can create abundance for all, it can’t do so profitably (since only scarce or artificially scarce goods currently have an exchange value in the market). So it forces us to choose between our self‑fulfillment — creating things that genuinely benefit others — and our livelihood. We now have the technology and the ability to create a better economic reality. A reality where we no longer have to choose between self‑fulfillment and livelihood; where creating things in abundance for all is profitable; and where the race is to make people’s lives better — for us and our children. But while all of this is possible, none of it will happen if people don’t know about it and build it. And that is the purpose of this adventure. This year I built Impact Alpha ( /impact | impact.abundance.id ): - It's a system to reward builders and creators based on the impact their work makes on Farcaster (and not based on how much engagement they can get for their content). So far 15k+ casts from 2100+ unique creators were curated, and 1500+ creators got rewarded thru /impact. The app has 140 curators, and 20+ "super curators" (you know who you are 😉) who did an amazing job this year growing the app and boosting creators. - I also published The Abundance Economy (book.abundance.id) - a book that explains why our current economic model is broken and leading us to a dystopian future with multiple crisis (AGI, automation, crisis of trust in institutions, social polarization, climate crisis, etc.) And how we can use blockchain tech to build.. well, an economy of abundance.
